Nice job

Nice paper replica with archives for a good amount of time.

This is EXACTLY what I was waiting for!

I have read The Record for 25 years. When I got the first iPad, I wanted so badly to have an app for it because I hate dealing with recycling the newsprint. It took a few years, but its now here and its awesome! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love the way the app works....being able to page through or fast forward to my favorite sections. Its easy to navigate and easy to read! Thanks so much for making this spectacular app!

Paid subscription does not work.

I paid for a 1 month subscription before trying the product. I cant get the paid subscriptions to download. Ive written to support three times. Each time they tell me to remove and reinstall and re-authorize. Same result each time cannot download. I tried the 1 week free subscription and that works. I had only wished that I had tried the trial first before paying, because I do not like this app. I can run to the store faster than each paper downloads. The interface is terrible. Navigation is clunky. I just want my 9.99 back. Support says I need to contact itunes. Why? Its there product and it doesnt work

Great app!!

I loved this app and reading The Record on my iPad when it was $9.99. Now it jumps to $24.99 for a month when they dont even have to print the paper? The air must be good at North Jersey Media!!!!

What a joke

More than doubling the rate at once to more than newsstand prices? Im done. Guess they dont need our business too badly. Oh well. Was fun while it lasted. Restore the old price and Ill be back.

Wont install

I wish I had seen the above review before I tried to install. Im in the same boat. I hope a fix is coming.

Great app iOS 7 issue

Love this app, love reading the Record on my iPad. Ever since I upgraded to iOS 7 the paper will not allow me to share a story by email. It appears to work, but never creates the email to send! Help!

Love this app!

So great to have The Record right in my newsstand on both my iPhone and iPad. And email sharing works fine. I use it all the time!

Crashes on old I pads

I did not want to give any stars. It does not work on old I pads. It worked before the latest update. Now it will not even load. And it wont even allow you to re install. Bummer.

Slow updating

Way to release an update to improve iOS 7 support... a week before iOS 8 is released. And almost a year after iOS 7 was released.

Not reliable

App is just too inconsistent. Sometimes it takes forever to won load the daily newspaper and other times the newspaper for that day just never shows up! Great idea, poor execution

Frustrating, unreliable, and worse

The app doesnt download issues automatically most of the time, and trying to force it is fruitless and maddening. Unless you prefer to read 3 sentence "latest news" summaries, buy the paper and dont waste your time here.

USELESS!

App does not work! Will not show daily issue. No way to force it! Please fix this. Would like to read on vacation.

No downloadable content

Does not deliver a daily issue. I would call that a non working application...shouldnt an application be tested before being released into production?

Love this app!

As I am sitting here looking at the 6 inches of snow in my backyard I know my newspaper will be delayed and I am ok with that. I wouldnt want anyone to risk themselves. I remembered this app but did not have my user name or password. I called The Record and had my info in 3 minutes. I logged on, down Loaded my edition and I am reading the paper. Its very interactive and easy to navigate.

Application does not work

It no longer downloads the paper like it use to. It is 100% useless.

App broke - cant download content

The app broke several weeks ago and you can no longer download issues automatically. You need to Deauthorize the app, wait for the issue to appear, then log back in and download. You can only download the current issue, no back issues. Support is only for subscription issues. It would be nice if the app developer had a support contact so we could let them know there is a problem.
